Meet the Team

teamENERGIZE grew out of her family’s team approach to nutrition, physical fitness, and mental wellness. She believes that they go hand in hand and that physical and mental energy is a determining factor in a life well-lived. For over 20 years, Mulitple Sclerosis has been an everpresent daily part of Patty's life, and she is convinced that a solid nutrition plan, maintenance of a healthy weight, and a  fitness plan that includes strength, balance, and mobility training have greatly helped her maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

"Living with MS has allowed me to really know my body, my strengths, and my limitations. It has taught me to listen to my body, appreciate its ability, and know when it is necessary to rest."

Patty's mindset and approach have helped others to face their own diagnoses and life challenges by recognizing the uniqueness of each person's journey.

Always having the team to help push you to accomplish your goals and support you along the way regardless of your personal challenges can be a key element in developing, restoring, and maintaining a healthy life! Her many years as a collegiate track and field athlete at the U.S. Naval Academy, a NASM-certified personal trainer/nutrition coach and a super-active mother of six have all contributed to the belief that everyone can love fitness and energize their life. All they need is a great team behind them!

Gracie's fitness/nutrition philosophy is based on her belief in the power of team and movement. When we combine the power of personal determination with the support of a team, we can achieve and do anything. Grace competed as a swimmer for many years, achieving great success as a Florida State Champion and a scholarship collegiate athlete. Her time as an athlete taught her to love a challenge and to overcome limiting beliefs. Beyond competition, Grace's struggle with chronic back pain from years of over-exertion showed her that wellness and training don't need to have a negative impact on our bodies. We can use movement to feel energy, joy, health, and strength! When we give that to ourselves, we can in turn give it to our teammates in fitness and in life!

High energy, building strength, athletic agility, and a simple but comprehensive nutrition strategy are the key areas that inspire this self-professed “gym rat”. As a young teen, he started weight training in a friend’s family room to build up strength for sports. It did not take long before he noticed significant results and turned into a fitness freak for life. He loves the challenges, goal setting, and opportunities to improve that building one’s body can produce.

Dan’s experience as a husband, father of six, Navy officer, and in the business world revealed to him a passion for leadership and building winning teams.  With the right mix, of energy, good coaching, and a sense of welcome any group of people can eventually be forged into a team, a community that supports and cares for one another.
